The Williams family turned turned the tragic loss of their son into a life-affirming and life-saving not-for profit organization. Nine-year-old Dylan was playing baseball when he suffered cardiac arrest after being struck by a line-drive. CPR was not effective.. A defibrillator -- not normally available in little league parks at that time -- might have saved Dylan's life. Forever An All-Star raises funds to equip ball parks with defibrillators, with installations all over Indiana and as far away as North Carolina. The foundation is also a provider of CPR training.

For over 140 years, the Union City Alumni Association has served as a communication and engagement committee for graduates of Union City schools. Our traditional financial support has focused on scholarships for graduating seniors, but 21st Century changes have turned us into genuine activists, helping finance the technology and skill development required for student AND TEACHER preparation. There are many opportunities to participate.
In August 2020, the Union City Alumni Association transformed into the Union City Education Foundation, with the expanded role of receiving larger-dollar donations that can help meet the demands of 21st Century public education. Support opportunities include direct donations, estate bequests or other planned giving options. The Alumni Association continues its 140+ year tradition as a standing committee within the Foundation's 501(c)(3) organization.
