Union City's Economic Development Department is chaired by the Mayor and includes all related department heads. Tools are in place to begin active dialog quickly. We work closely with the Randolph County Economic Development Corporation on larger project and with relevant Indiana state offices as required.

The revitalization of downtown Union City is a work in process, and there is available space and an openness to work with enterprising business people.
This is an early artist rendering a VISION CORNER, once an apothecary-variety store with upstairs apartments. The new vision includes studios for our locally operated TV station, a combination production and retail location for promotional products, and an Internet Cafe available to students and independent entrepreneurs.
