About ROC (Renovating our City)
Many Union City residents long for the "good old days" before the economic impact of our plant closing era. Now a group of Union City residents have formed a not-for-profit organization that is actively working on beautification of residential areas.
ROC intends to help renovate our city, one house at a time. Finished homes will be made available at 5% above cost to worthy applicants such as teachers and first responders not currently living in the city.
As of summer 2020, program had just started, finishing its first home at Division and Columbia. But more homes are being lined up, volunteer momentum is building. And the potential is becoming real.

There's a role for those experienced in the building trade, those who would like to learn, and those who are willing to help in a variety of ways.
